The Secret

Behind The Secret to Success.

Eric Thomas' mother, Vernessa Thomas, has written her first book entitled; “The Secret Behind The Secret To Success.” From growing up on the South Side of Chicago to meeting Eric's biological father, Mrs. Thomas chronicles all the struggles, conflicts and challenges from without and within that ultimately led to Eric leaving the house, dropping out of High School and, starting on his path of desperation, exploration, and success.

"The Secret Behind The Secret To Success," takes readers along for the journey and allows them to witness these events as they happened and from a perspective that only "Momma T" can provide. The rawness of Eric's truth laid bare in "The Secret To Success" was hard to revisit but, after reading it, she knew in time, she would need to respond. That time has finally come. "The Secret Behind The Secret to Success," answers every question and, fills in every blank. You thought you knew it all but, you have no idea.

The Promise Delayed, Not Denied.

Learn how your past can be that very thing that sets you on the path of prosperity.

Hard life experiences contain valuable lessons, learn how to view them from a different perspective in order to grow. A childhood/early life of lack is really your ability to make it without embracing those life lessons.

You can not pour from an empty cup.

Learn how to keep some of you for yourself. In pursuing your calling, don’t chase the money. Feed your people and the money will come.

Find Your Tribe

Understand  how the people you keep around you will impact your emotional well-being. You must cut the negative relationships as they will  derail your success.

Without a vision, the people perish.

Understand how a vision can sometimes be of something  you want to have. It can also be a vision of what you don’t want in your future.

You have to crawl before you walk.

Learn how to take small steps persistent steps towards your goal. Most successful people in the world have failed, but they all failed forward.

“Mrs. Thomas spoke at The Girl Hold My Hand Conference and I felt like she was speaking directly to me. We went to the same high school and come from the same neighborhood. If you are mom this book is for you.”
